Change Keyboard, Mouse, and Trackpad Settings
You can change the settings for your keyboard, mouse, and trackpad to suit how you like to work.
- To change settings for your keyboard, use the Keyboard pane of System Preferences.
You can adjust how quickly letters on your keyboard repeat, customize the function keys (F1–F12), and customize the keyboard shortcuts you use for many actions in the Finder and your apps.
Open Keyboard preferences - To change settings for your mouse, use the Mouse pane of System Preferences.
You can change the tracking speed (how quickly the pointer moves as you move the mouse), as well as the double-click and scrolling speed. You can also set up a Magic Mouse and customize the gestures you use with it so it works the way you want.
